The Villa
Nestled in the heart of green Umbria, you will find La Preziosa among rolling hills and traditional farmland.
The house was buildt in 2009, with all the comforts you expect from a modern holiday home.
Four bedrooms makes it comfortable for 8 adults, and with extra beds and cots we can house up to 10 if some of the visitors are kids.
The beautiful pool in the garden is a favourit among the youngsters from May until October, and a nice feature for all when Umbria turns up the summer heat. For the more nippy evenings in winter, spring and fall, the small indoor pool offers a relaxing atmosphere after a few minutes in the small sauna in the basement of the villa.
The Area
The villa is situated in a panoramic position in central Umbria, just between Perugia and Todi.
Several beautiful towns an villages are easily within reach, and in less than one hour, you can reach Perugia, Todi, Montefalco, Assisi, Deruta, Bevagna, Foligno, Torgiano, Bettona, Gualdo Cattaneo to mention a few.
The area is in the centre of The Green Heart of Italy, and beautiful traditional farmland in all its variations surrounds the villa and dominates the area.
Activities
Whether you want an active holiday or just want to completely relax, this is the place for you.
You can explore the culinary experiences the area offers with delicious food and wine, including cooking classes that we can arrange at the villa. The area is famous for its wine, and a visit to one of the Wineyards in the area is highly recomendable.
If you are in to golf, one of Italy's best golf courses is located near Perugia.
The villa is a perfect starting point for activities such as running, cycling and hiking. Both hilly and flat terrain and roads are found near the house, catering for all kinds of prefferences for the endurance sport addict.
History and culture are all around you, and it is not easy to pick something to mention, but Asissi with all it’s religiuos heritage needs mentioning.
